Dear Blog,

Holy moly, I’ve hit the motherload! I’m currently on a date with the most beautiful girl in the world and I’m in love! She’s in the bathroom at the moment, so I thought it’d be a good time to have a quick scribble here because I don’t want to forget any part of today!

Anyway, what a woman! She’s perfect. She’s got everything I go for. Blue eyes you could paint the sky with and a smile that could power a city! We’ve got so much in common. We both want to get married in the next five years, two kids by ten. We both love the outdoors and animals. I was telling her about my expedition to Kilimanjaro and she told me she was planning to do Everest next year! I might join her!

Anyway, I had to tell her. I just had to blurt out how much I love taxidermy!

Turns out she’s a great listener too. She went quiet and let me tell her all about it! I told her about Diane, my new kestrel, and Phyllis the otter, even Lionel. Ah, Lionel… he’s going to love her! I showed her pictures of him and she agreed he’s a beautiful dog. I told her his golden fur is still as glossy as it ever was and his eyes still sparkle. He doesn’t have that perennially wet nose anymore, but that’s a small price to pay to have him sat beside my chair so I can see him every day. 

Anyway, I’m babbling. She’ll be back any minute so I better sign off. 

Actually, she’s been in the bathroom for quite a while now. Hope she’s ok. 

Never mind, she’ll be back soon. I’ll order some more wine so when she’s back we can toast our future kids!
